Sunrise is one of Concha y Toro’s bright and expressive labels, a direct association with the 300 days of sun a year that its vineyards receive.

The concept relied on illustrating winery-related landscapes and situations that would be later set in motion. To achieve this, we shot scenes including actors in video. The footage obtained was later heavily post-produced to achieve the hand-illustrated look. Each frame was re-made using a technique called rotoscopy, that involves painting on top of the original footage, frame by frame. Using this technique also allowed to replace the original background scenery with new 2D and 3D generated landscapes, transforming the original video footage into magical scenes.
